Béatrice Wegnez is a Belgian actress and voice actress known primarily for her extensive work in French-language dubs of anime and animated series. Her career in voice acting spans several decades, during which she has become a recognizable voice to French-speaking audiences for a variety of iconic characters.

Wegnez was born on October 17, 1973, in Brussels, Belgium. She began her voice work in the late 1990s, with some of her earliest roles including Sakura Shinguji in the anime series Sakura Wars and voices in the series Pokémon from 1997 onwards. Her filmography includes a significant number of major and supporting roles in animated projects.

Wegnez is particularly well-known for her long-standing role as Ayumi Yoshida, a member of the Junior Detective League, in the long-running anime series Detective Conan (known as Case Closed in some regions). She has voiced this character consistently across the main television series, as well as in numerous theatrical films, including Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet, Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire, and Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram.

Another prominent role is that of Iris in the Pokémon franchise. She is the official French voice for the character Iris in all her appearances, which includes the television series Pokémon: Black and White and Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies, as well as several films such as Pokémon the Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram and White—Victini and Zekrom, Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice, and Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened.

More recently, Wegnez voiced the character Kanna Kamui in the French dub of the popular anime Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S, the second season of the series. Her other notable anime and animation credits are extensive and varied. She voices Kano Miyazawa in His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano), Kié in Jarinko Chie, and Blanc in the film Tekkonkinkreet (titled Amer Béton in French). She has also lent her voice to characters like Number 3 in Codename: Kids Next Door, Glim and Amaryl in Winx Club, Scootaloo in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Melba in Pet Alien, Koko in Chuggington, and Princesse Préséa in Magic Knight Rayearth. Her filmography also includes a role in the classic film Horus, Prince of the Sun.
