Kent Itō is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with the agency 81 Produce. He was born on October 18, 1988, in Tokyo, Japan.

Before becoming a voice actor, Itō led a life deeply connected to music and performance. During high school, he chose to focus on a band he joined at a friend's invitation over the baseball team he was also a part of. He later graduated from a law faculty, but his path to voice acting began when he enrolled in a broadcasting school to improve his communication skills. In 2012, he officially started his entertainment career as a member of 81 Produce.

A unique part of his early career was his activity as a Vocaloid producer. While in university, he created original music using Vocaloid software under the name "21st-century P" and posted his work on Nico Nico Douga.

Itō's voice acting career features a wide range of notable roles in anime, games, and other media. He has played lead characters such as the otaku office worker Hirotaka Nifuji in Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku and the gentle-hearted Hinata Tachibana in Fantasy Bishōjo Juniku Ojisan to. He is also well-known for his role as the anxious Doppo Kannonzaka in the popular mixed-media franchise Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-. His filmography includes Sōma Mizuno in the Fire in His Fingertips series, Yasu in Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!!, Kazuto Tonōka in World Trigger, Kyōichi Majima in My Home Hero, a Hero in Dragon Goes House-Hunting, Shintarō Iwashimizu in Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki, and Shūji Majima in Adults Dunno How to Love!. In addition to these, he has taken on roles in major franchises, including Shigeru Sakamoto in Uchū Senkan Yamato 2205: Aratanaru Tabidachi, Kuwana Gō in Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru ~Setsugetsuka~, Michio Hazama in The iDOLM@STER SideM, Lihito Toudo in Hana-Doll*, Faust in Mahō Tsukai no Yakusoku - Promise of Wizard, Mozart in Classic Stars, and Tōya Aoyagi in COLORFUL STAGE! Itō is known for his recurring collaborations, both with specific colleagues and within creative units. He frequently works with fellow voice actor Yoshiki Nakajima. The two have formed multiple musical units over the years, including soffive, lune de miel, and most notably UMake, for which Itō provides compositions and vocals. His involvement in the Hypnosis Mic franchise is also a significant part of his career, where he performs as a member of the group Matenro.

His work has earned him recognition in the industry. In 2019, he was a recipient of the Singing Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards as part of the cast of Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-. Beyond voice acting, Itō has also pursued a solo career as a singer, making his major debut in 2022 with the single "Mayonaka no Love". His skills as a musician extend to playing instruments like the guitar and drums, and he continues to compose music.
