Ayumi Tsuji
Description
Ayumi Tsuji is a Japanese voice actress from Ehime Prefecture, born on June 18, 1984. After graduating from high school, she moved to Tokyo to become a student in the first intake of the Pro-Fit Voice Actor Training School. She made her debut in 2004 with a minor role in the television anime series Melody of Oblivion and became affiliated with the agency Pro-Fit the following year.
Her first major regular role came in 2005 as Minamo Katsura in the series Best Student Council, a part that helped raise her profile. Throughout the mid-to-late 2000s, Tsuji was known for voicing cute girls and characters with youthful voices, securing several leading roles. In 2006, she voiced Niina Isokawa in Tona-Gura! and Rose Sheedy in Red Garden, a role she would reprise in the 2007 OVA Dead Girls. The year 2007 was a particularly active period for her, with prominent roles including Guchuko in Potemayo, Elise von Dietrich in Sky Girls, and Kanon Suzuhara in Kaze no Stigma. She also voiced Ixia in the 2009 series Slap Up Party: Arad Senki.
Tsuji departed from Pro-Fit on March 31, 2011, and worked as a freelancer for approximately a year and a half before joining her current agency, Mausu Promotion, on September 1, 2012. In the following years, her television roles included Ouka Yuuouji in My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy in 2013, Baratack in Toei Robot Girls in 2014, and Hikaru Koshino in Nōgyō Musume!.
Beyond anime, Tsuji has an extensive body of work in video games. She is well-known for voicing Monika Weissvint in the Princess Connect! franchise, a role she has played since the original 2015 game and reprised for the 2022 anime adaptation, Princess Connect! Re:Dive Season 2. Other notable game roles include Kozue Orihara in the Chaos;Head series, various characters in the Arcana Heart fighting game series, Bernadetta in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and multiple characters in the long-running social game Granblue Fantasy. Her voice work also extends to drama CDs, radio programs, and character songs. In 2007, she hosted her first solo radio show, Radio Dot Eye: Ayumi Tsuji no Bouken no Sho.
