Soyeon is a established South Korean voice actress known for her extensive work in anime dubbing for the Korean market. She became a member of the Korea Broadcasting Voice Acting Division in 1999, marking the start of her professional career. Over the years, she has lent her voice to a wide array of characters across numerous popular anime series and films, becoming a familiar presence to Korean audiences of animated content.

Her filmography includes a number of significant roles that highlight her range. In the romance drama Yosuga no Sora, she voiced the character Akira Amatsume. She also took on the role of Itsuki Akiba in both the I"s original video animation and its sequel, I"s Pure.
