She is widely recognized for her extensive work in English-language dubs of anime series, primarily produced by Funimation and other studios like Sound Cadence Studios and OkraTron 5000. Cranz began her professional acting career in 1993, with experience in theater, commercials, and independent films before transitioning to voice-over work. In 1999, she was among the first actors cast by Funimation for their flagship series, Dragon Ball Z. This role, providing the voice for the character Chi-Chi, became a defining part of her career. She has continued to voice Chi-Chi across numerous series and films in the franchise, including Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and various Dragon Ball Z movies.
