Shin Aomori is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator born on October 20, 1941, in Aomori Prefecture. His real name is Kazuo Ichinohe, and his stage name is a tribute to his birthplace. He began his entertainment career in the 1960s, with early experience in theater companies including the Mirai Theatre Company and the NHK Hirosaki Broadcasting Theatre Company. After completing his studies at the Tokyo Announce Academy, he transitioned into voice acting and has remained active in the industry for decades. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with several talent agencies, including the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society and Sigma Seven, and he is currently represented by Aoni Production.

Aomori is known for his distinctive, deep, and sometimes grim voice, which has made him a popular choice for a wide range of character types, from villains and authority figures to wise mentors.
