Serena Varghese is an American voice actress known for her extensive work in English-language dubs of anime productions. Born on October 10, 1981, in Houston, Texas, she is of Indian descent and began her career in the mid-2000s, frequently collaborating with ADV Films and Seraphim Digital. Varghese is also known professionally as Serena Gonzalez.

Her early voice roles include Hinako in the series Sister Princess in 2004 and Michiru in the 2005 anime Air. She continued to build her filmography throughout the decade with a wide variety of characters. Notable credits from this period include Rein Tsunomoto in Best Student Council, Kamyuu in the Utawarerumono series, and the role of Berta Kastner in the series 009-1. In 2008, she provided the voice for Kanae Sumita in the ADV Films dub of the acclaimed film 5 Centimeters Per Second.

The 2010s saw Varghese take on several prominent and recurring roles. She voiced Yun Yun in the series Canaan and was cast as Mei Sunohara in the Clannad anime series. In 2012, she was heard as Minato Kisaragi in Dream Eater Merry and as both Chihiro Kosaka and Lime in The World God Only Knows. A significant recurring role began in 2015 when she started voicing the character Asfi Al Andromeda in the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? franchise, reprising the role for its second and third seasons, the film Arrow of the Orion, and the spin-off Sword Oratoria. Other roles from this period include Yuki in the OAV project ICE, Yuko Yabe in the film Loups=Garous, and various characters in series such as Angel Beats! and Highschool of the Dead.

Beyond her extensive anime work, Varghese's voice can also be heard in animated projects like Hello Kitty's Animation Theater, where she voiced the character Badtz Maru, and she has appeared in the live-action film Where's the Party Yaar?. In 2007, she served as one of the hosts for the American Anime Awards presentation ceremony at New York Comic Con.
