Tōru Nara is a Japanese voice actor born on May 7, 1980, in Saitama Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Kenyu Office and stands 168 cm tall with blood type B. He began his voice acting career after studying at the Japan Narration Acting Institute and the Talk Back workshop run by voice actor Kenyu Horiuchi, making his debut around the year 2000.

Nara is recognized for his distinctive husky voice, which allows him to portray a wide range of characters, from energetic friends and supporting heroes to comedic figures and villains. He has maintained a prolific career in television anime, frequently appearing in long-running series and popular franchises. Some of his most notable and sustained anime roles include Rikido Sato in My Hero Academia, Yusei Nishida in Chihayafuru, Naoki Ishida in Cardfight!! Vanguard, and Gorota Kuma Kumashima in Yo-kai Watch.

His extensive filmography also features roles such as Kuro in Delicious in Dungeon, Scarecrow in Jormungand, Masashi Yahari in Ace Attorney, Notetsu in We Rent Tsukumogami, Alec in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, Marion Hood in Lupin Zero, and Gabriel in Insect Land. In the long-running Inazuma Eleven franchise, he has voiced Sakichi Shishido and Daichi Amagi, and in the Naruto series, he provided the voice for a young Jiraiya. He has also appeared in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise as Nukesaku and Thunder McQueen.
