Description
"Is the Order a Rabbit?? Dear My Sister" is a 2017 anime film that serves as a continuation of the "Is the Order a Rabbit??" series. The story revolves around Cocoa Hoto, a cheerful and energetic girl who moves to a small European-style town to live above a café called Rabbit House. Cocoa becomes close friends with her coworkers and classmates, including the reserved but kind Chino Kafuu, the diligent and responsible Rize Tedeza, the mischievous and playful Chiya Ujimatsu, and the shy yet talented barista Sharo Kirima.
The film begins with Cocoa and her friends preparing for a summer festival. The group decides to create a haunted house attraction, which leads to a series of lighthearted and comedic moments as they brainstorm ideas and work together. The narrative then shifts focus to Cocoa and Chino, who embark on a trip to visit Cocoa’s family. This journey provides insight into Cocoa’s background and her relationship with her older sister, Mocha Hoto, who is introduced as a quirky and eccentric character with a penchant for teasing Cocoa. The interactions between the sisters highlight their bond and add depth to Cocoa’s character.
Throughout the film, the story maintains its slice-of-life tone, emphasizing the everyday adventures and camaraderie of the main characters. The themes of friendship, family, and personal growth are explored through the characters’ interactions and experiences. The film also incorporates moments of humor and warmth, staying true to the lighthearted and wholesome atmosphere of the original series. The narrative concludes with the group returning to their daily lives, leaving viewers with a sense of continuity and the promise of more adventures to come.
