Misa Watanabe is a Japanese voice actress and narrator born on April 30, 1964, in Tokyo, Japan. She is a graduate of the Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music and is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. Watanabe began her career in the early 1990s and has since built a substantial body of work across animation, video games, and dubbing for foreign films and television series.

Watanabe is perhaps best known for her long-running role as Princess Nefertari Vivi in the anime series One Piece, a part she has played since the early 2000s. Her career in the 2000s was particularly prolific, featuring prominent roles in major franchises. She voiced Tsunami in Naruto, Akeginu in Basilisk, and provided the voice for the character Northa in Fresh Pretty Cure. She also contributed her voice to the Dinosaur King series, playing the character Usarapa, known as Ursula in the English adaptation.

In the subsequent decade, Watanabe continued to secure roles in high-profile projects. She voiced Queen Beryl in the Sailor Moon Crystal reboot and played Nozomi Kako in the long-running series World Trigger. Her filmography also includes a significant number of roles in original video animations and video games. Notably, she played Martel Yggdrasill in the Tales of Symphonia franchise and EVA in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. In live-action special effects television, she provided voices for the character Vancuria in Mahou Sentai Magiranger and its film appearances, and later voiced the Evil Goddess in an episode of Kamen Rider Geats.

Beyond her work in anime and games, Watanabe has an extensive career as a voice actress for dubbing foreign media. She is the regular Japanese dubbing voice for actresses Cameron Diaz, Téa Leoni, and Cynthia Nixon. Her dubbing credits also include providing the Japanese voice for Marcia Cross's character Bree Van de Kamp in Desperate Housewives. It has been noted that early in her career, she occasionally used the alias Mori Hirori for certain roles.
