Fabio Boccanera is an Italian voice actor, born in Rome on 28 October 1964, who has become one of the most prominent and recognizable voices in Italian dubbing. He began his career in the industry as a child and has since lent his voice to a vast array of characters in film and television. While he is widely celebrated as the official Italian voice of actors like Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Ben Affleck, he has also built an extensive and highly respected body of work in the world of anime.

Boccanera's contributions to anime are significant and span several decades, covering a wide range of characters. He is the Italian voice of the iconic Char Aznable in numerous installments of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, including the film trilogies and series such as Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He also voiced the fiery Kittan Bachika in the Gurren Lagann films, including The Lights in the Sky Are Stars. Another major role is that of the monk Miroku in the long-running series Inuyasha and its associated films. He is also known for voicing Ranma Saotome (the male form) in the second half of the Ranma ½ anime series.
