Kyle Igneczi

Description
Kyle Igneczi is an American voice actor and arts administrator, born on July 18, 1986. He is widely recognized for his extensive work in English dubs of anime series, primarily associated with Funimation Entertainment and other Texas-based dubbing studios.

Beyond his voice acting career, Igneczi is deeply involved in the performing arts as a stage actor, director, and puppeteer. In August 2023, he was appointed as the first Executive Director of Verdigris Ensemble, a Dallas-based choral group. In this role, he leverages his decades of experience in non-profit performance and arts leadership, with a background that includes work with organizations such as the Dallas Theater Center, WaterTower Theatre, and the Plano Symphony Orchestra. His roots in opera and choral performance, combined with his career in musical theater, have established him as a versatile figure in the Dallas-Fort Worth arts community.

Igneczi's voice acting portfolio is extensive and features a wide array of supporting and lead roles across numerous popular anime franchises. He is known for his versatility, often voicing characters with distinct personalities, from comedic roles to intense antagonists. He provided the voice for the eponymous lead character, Bisco Akaboshi, in the series Sabikui Bisco. In 2024, he was cast as the voice of Nozomu Taiga, the host of Ultraman Zero, in the English dub of the Ultraman Zero movie trilogy, a role for which he brought confidence and swagger, describing the opportunity as beyond what he ever imagined. He is also set to voice the main character, Kyle, in the 2025 English dub of the fantasy anime New Saga.

His notable roles encompass a wide range of series. He voices Kirsch Vermillion in Black Clover, Neinhart in Fairy Tail, Giovanni Potage in Epithet Erased, and Spear Man in the Goblin Slayer franchise, including the film Goblin's Crown. He plays Mitsuba and Fuji in Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and its sequel After-School Hanako-kun. Other significant credits include Gurimu Igarashi in Blue Lock, Sai in One Piece, Usami in Golden Kamuy, and Sariel in the second season of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!. He also voiced Tetora Nagumo in Ensemble Stars!, Honey in Nanbaka, and Tsuyoshi Nakanojou in the Nichijou dub.

In a notable instance of recasting, Igneczi took over the role of Shusei Kagari for the Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System film trilogy, stepping in for the original English voice actor who had become inactive. This demonstrates his role within the industry as a reliable talent for dubbing productions.

Igneczi's career reflects a sustained commitment to performance and storytelling, both on stage and in the recording booth. His work as a voice actor has made him a familiar presence to English-speaking audiences of contemporary anime, while his leadership in the arts continues to shape the cultural landscape in his region.
