José Luis Orozco is a Mexican actor with a extensive career in theater, television, and voice dubbing, recognized for his work in animated films, live-action cinema, and anime series. He was born on June 22, 1958. Orozco studied acting and initially worked in theater, where he connected with fellow actors Alberto Gavira and Alfonso Obregón. It was Alfonso Obregón, the voice of Shrek in Latin America, who invited him to explore dubbing in 1985. Orozco then undertook specialized training in dubbing technique under the guidance of Carlos Magaña.

His voice portfolio is extensive, encompassing a wide range of characters across different media. He is widely known as the definitive Latin Spanish voice of Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story franchise, a role he has performed for over two decades. He is also the regular dubbing voice for actor Tim Allen in many of his film appearances.
