Takuzō Kamiyama was a Japanese actor and voice actor born on November 22, 1931, in Tokyo, Japan. He passed away on March 15, 2004, at the age of 72. His birth name was Toshio Kamiyama.
Kamiyama had a prolific career in voice acting, with a substantial number of credits spanning from the 1960s through the 1990s. He was known for his work in anime, tokusatsu superhero series, and animated films. As noted, he voiced the character Dayōn in the Osomatsu-kun film Osomatsu-kun: Suika no Hoshi kara Konnichiwa Zansu! and also played the role in other entries of the franchise, such as Osomatsu-kun: Iyami Alone in the Wind and Osomatsu-kun: Go For It! Chibita's Oni War.
His extensive filmography includes a wide range of significant roles. In anime, he is known for voicing the Tin Man in the 1986 series The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Wolfman in the 1980 series Kaibutsu-kun. He also provided voices for characters in major films, including Shalulu (credited as Charles in some sources) in Hayao Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky, Dongoroth in Future Boy Conan, and Greg Gates in the OVA series Area 88.
In addition to anime, Kamiyama was a frequent voice actor in the tokusatsu genre, particularly in the Super Sentai series.
