In the world of jujutsu sorcerers, the year 2006 finds the legendary Satoru Gojo and his close friend Suguru Geto as students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. The two are assigned a critical mission alongside their classmate Shoko Ieiri: to protect and escort Riko Amanai, a young girl designated as the Star Plasma Vessel. Her fate is to be sacrificed so that the immortal leader of the jujutsu world, Tengen, can evolve and maintain his barrier protecting humanity. As a fanatical religious cult and other curse users hunt Riko to prevent this merger, Gojo and Geto must use their immense power to keep her safe. This mission, however, plants the seeds of tragedy that will eventually shatter their friendship and set both sorcerers on drastically different paths.

The film is a theatrical compilation of the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc from the second season of the television anime. It follows Gojo and Geto during their school days, before the events of the main series, showing them as confident allies whose bond is tested by the harsh realities of the jujutsu world. The narrative focuses on their relationship, Gojo's evolution into the strongest sorcerer, and Geto's slow descent into a darker ideology after confronting the pain and corruption within the non-sorcerer society they are sworn to protect.

Accompanying the main feature is a new, original Juju Sanpo (also known as Juju Stroll) short. This lighthearted, chibi-style animated segment brings back Gojo, Geto, and Ieiri for a comedic interlude that contrasts with the film's dramatic storyline. The new content is written and storyboarded by series creator Gege Akutami, offering fans a rare and humorous glimpse into the everyday interactions of the three young sorcerers. These bonus segments were a popular feature of the first anime season and make their return here after being absent from the second season.
