Ana Lobo is a Mexican dubbing actress. Born Ana Mylhán Lobo Peralta on April 2, 1978, in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico, she began her career in dubbing in 1997. Her entry into the industry was facilitated by her uncle, actor and dubbing director Alejandro Mayén. Her first dubbing assignment was arranged by Ernesto Lezama at Intersound. Lobo was active in dubbing for approximately eight years before stepping away from the profession in 2005 due to maternity. She announced her return to dubbing on February 20, 2015, and has remained active in the field since then. Throughout her career, Lobo has lent her voice to a wide array of characters. One of her most iconic roles is Ahome Higurashi, the protagonist of the series Inuyasha. She originated the voice of this character from the beginning of the series and later returned to reprise the role for its final arc, Inuyasha Kanketsu-hen. Following her return to dubbing, she took on the role of Mikasa Ackerman in the final seasons of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin). Her extensive filmography includes many other notable anime characters. In the Pokémon franchise, she has had multiple roles, including being the first voice of May in the Pokémon Advanced Generation series, Ritchie, Charmander in a specific episode, Pikachu in the film Pokémon: I Choose You!, and Rod in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Her other prominent anime roles include Gaz in Invader Zim, Cana in Fairy Tail, Mokuba Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cosmo Kazama in Crayon Shin-chan, Yoh Asakura in Shaman King, Rei Ayanami in Neon Genesis Evangelion, and March in To Your Eternity.
