Marcelo Pissardini is a Brazilian actor, voice actor, and cartoonist, born on September 11, 1967, in São Paulo. He began his career in voice acting in 1995, the same year he graduated from the Macunaíma Theater School. He is the brother of fellow voice actress Adriana Pissardini. Before focusing on performance, Pissardini worked as a cartoonist, creating comic strips and political cartoons for various publications in the 1980s and 1990s.

Pissardini is renowned for his extensive work dubbing anime into Brazilian Portuguese, having lent his voice to a vast array of characters across numerous popular series and films. He has taken on several iconic roles, including the villainous Hades in the Saint Seiya OVA series The Hades Chapter, spanning Sanctuary, Inferno, and Elysion. He is also the voice of the Destruction God Bills in the Dragon Ball franchise, appearing in films such as Battle of Gods, Resurrection F, and Dragon Ball Super: Broly, as well as the Dragon Ball Super television series. Another prominent role is that of the panda psychologist Gouhin in the series BEASTARS and its second season.

His filmography includes a wide range of characters in both animated and live-action productions. He provided the voice for Snake in the anime film Tekkonkinkreet and for Exsedol 4970 in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?. In the Pokémon franchise, he has voiced Meowth in several films, including Pokémon 4Ever and Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios. He also voiced Ryūnosuke Umemiya in the 2021 version of Shaman King, Nakazo in Bright: Samurai Soul, and Valco in the Star Wars: Visions short The Village Bride. Other notable credits include 9nine in Cannon Busters, Torakichi Tanuki in Submarine Super 99, Hiroshi Kishida in Shooting Starlets Musumet, Flanagan in Mary and The Witch's Flower, and the recurring role of Shou Tucker in the various Fullmetal Alchemist adaptations.

Beyond anime, Pissardini's voice is widely recognized for his long-standing role as Squidward Tentacles (Lula Molusco) in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of SpongeBob SquarePants, a part he voiced for 19 years until his replacement in 2025. His extensive non-anime work also includes voicing Discord in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Kick Buttowski in the series of the same name, and various roles in the live-action series Phil of the Future.
