Mauro Eduardo, born Mauro Eduardo Lima, is a Brazilian actor and voice actor with a career that began in the mid-1980s. His entry into the world of performing arts came through theater, with a debut in the musical Tistu, o Menino do Polegar Verde in 1976. Throughout the late 1970s, he also appeared in telenovelas produced by the now-defunct TV Tupi before transitioning to voice acting in 1985.

He is widely recognized for his extensive work dubbing anime, where he has lent his voice to a multitude of leading and supporting characters. One of his most iconic and long-running roles is that of the half-demon Inuyasha. He has voiced the character across the original Inuyasha television series, all four feature films including Inuyasha: The Tragic Love Song of Destiny, the final arc InuYasha: The Final Act, and the sequel series Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon and its second act. Another prominent role is Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!, a character he voiced in the main series, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and the movie Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions.

His versatility is evident in the wide range of characters he has portrayed. In the late 1980s and 1990s, he took on roles such as Lynn Kaifun in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?, Tetsuo Shima in the classic film Akira, and Gai Kuroki in Shurato. He voiced the character Io of Scylla in the new dub of Saint Seiya and Ban Mido in Getbackers. In the 2000s and beyond, his credits include Gennosuke Kouga in Basilisk, Lancer in Fate/stay night, multiple roles in Naruto (including Jirobo and Deidara), and Ian Vashti across the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series and film. He also took on roles in the 2021 version of Shaman King, reprising the part of Mikihisa Asakura and voicing other characters.

Beyond anime, Mauro Eduardo's career includes significant roles in video games and live-action series adaptations. He is known for voicing Andy Bogard in the Fatal Fury OVAs and Haohmaru in Samurai Shodown: The Motion Picture. In the realm of live-action tokusatsu, he provided the voice for the protagonist in the Brazilian dub of Jiraiya. He has also dubbed characters in western animation and live-action series, such as Peter Parker in the 1994 Spider-Man animated series and the title character in Max Steel.

Mauro Eduardo comes from a family of voice actors; he is the brother of Márcia Regina and is married to Leila di Castro, both of whom are also renowned in the Brazilian dubbing industry.
