Born in Huntington, New York, and raised in Huntington Beach, California, she began performing at a young age, studying dance and participating in community theater. Her entry into voice acting occurred serendipitously when a casting director heard her voice while she was working as a receptionist, leading to her first role in a Betty Boop featurette. Beyond voice work, Fahn is also an accomplished stage performer, having been a member of the original Broadway cast of the musical Wicked and an understudy for the role of Glinda.

Fahn is known for her versatile vocal range, frequently portraying characters that are energetic, youthful, or possess a unique, quirky charm.
