Hatano convinces a mechanic to help him work on his boat. The mechanic agrees and they begin replacing the sleeve on Hatano's motor. Hatano takes his boat out for a test run after the repair. Gamou hears the changed sound of Hatano's motor and responds immediately. The eleventh race starts. The battle for the lead narrows down to a direct contest between Hatano and Gamou. The episode ends with the two boats fighting for the top position,leaving the winner of the race undecided.
9I'll Win It - For You
Katsuhito Kamogawa races against Hatano. During the third lap at the second mark,Hatano executes a tsukemai turn. Kamogawa's bow then contacts Hatano's boat. The collision dislodges a plug wire from Hatano's engine. Hatano's boat loses speed immediately. Kamogawa crosses the finish line in first place. Kamogawa also wins the overall tournament for the round. He does not celebrate the victory. The race against Hatano leaves him feeling incomplete and unsatisfied. He believes the contact spoiled a fair contest. To resolve this frustration, Kamogawa reverses his previous stance. He decides to enter the SG and G1 class races, which he had repeatedly declined. Kenji travels to Furuiike's house and directly asks to be taught how to make propellers. Judging that Kenji is finally ready, Furuiike agrees. Furuiike leads Kenji to his propeller workshop hidden deep in the mountains. Kenji now faces the difficult task of mastering propeller craftsmanship from scratch.

The Ocean Cup final race begins with female racer Kushida taking the lead at the first mark. Kushida becomes the first female racer to reach the SG final. Kenji determines that letting Kushida extend her lead on the straightaway leaves him no chance to win. At the second mark,Kenji makes his move to the inside. Horaguchi then charges aggressively into Kushida as she tries to cut in. Horaguchi's boat jumps up and crashes into Kushida's head. Kushida barely holds on and avoids falling into the water but drops to last place. Horaguchi continues his aggressive driving and charges at Okaizumi, who is running in the lead.
