Description
Shinichi Kudo, a celebrated high school detective famed for unraveling intricate mysteries, is poisoned with an experimental drug during a criminal encounter, shrinking his body to a child’s size. To shield his identity, he adopts the alias Conan Edogawa—inspired by mystery writers Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo—and takes refuge with a childhood friend and her father, a private investigator, leveraging their connections to pursue cases incognito.

Equipped with covert tools like a voice-modulating bowtie, a wristwatch tranquilizer, and strength-enhancing shoes, Conan steers investigations from the shadows, subtly directing adults to conclusions while masking his true intellect. His deductive prowess, forensic expertise, and sharp perception persist despite his youthful guise. He navigates friendships with a group of schoolmates, joining them in solving minor mysteries even as he covertly targets the shadowy syndicate that altered him, seeking both a cure and the organization’s destruction.

An ally—the inventor of the de-aging drug—supplies advanced gadgets and antidotes, though temporary reversions to Shinichi’s form exact physical tolls, emphasizing the strain of his double life. A rival detective uncovers his secret, forging a tense partnership during perilous investigations. Relationships grow fraught, particularly with his unsuspecting childhood friend, whose sporadic doubts test Conan’s resolve to keep her safe.

Clashes with syndicate operatives demand calculated risks, undercover maneuvers, and uneasy alliances. Each confrontation sharpens his determination to eradicate the organization, even as fleeting moments of normalcy as Shinichi underscore the personal sacrifices his mission requires. Balancing secrecy, justice, and lingering hope for restoration, Conan adapts relentlessly, driven to protect others while inching closer to dismantling the threat that reshaped his existence.
