Jeong-Hwa Yang is a prominent South Korean voice actress known for her extensive work dubbing foreign animation and video games into Korean. She was born on November 27, 1970, in Busan, South Korea, and is a graduate of Dong-A University. Yang began her career in 1995 as part of the first voice actor recruitment class for the broadcasting company CJ E&M (then known as Tooniverse). After several years, she transitioned to freelance work in 1998, a status she has maintained throughout her career.
Yang's filmography is exceptionally broad, encompassing a wide variety of character types across numerous popular anime series. She is particularly recognized for voicing lead and iconic characters in the Korean dubs of Japanese anime. Some of her most notable roles include the titular character Keroro in Sgt.
