José Gilberto Vilchis Barrero, also known as Pepe Vilchis, is a Mexican actor and singer recognized for his extensive work in Latin American Spanish dubbing. Born on February 10, 1977, in Mexico City, he comes from a family with a strong legacy in voice acting; he is the son of Banny Barrero, nephew of Jesús Barrero, and cousin of Víctor Covarrubias and Yectli Barrero Palestino. His career in dubbing began in 1986, and he has since become a prominent figure in the industry, known for his versatility.

Vilchis has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in Japanese anime series. Some of his most iconic roles include Andromeda Shun in the Saint Seiya franchise, Neji Hyuga in Naruto, Zamasu in Dragon Ball Super, and Kyoya Tategami in the Beyblade series.
