José Gilberto Vilchis Barrero, also known as Pepe Vilchis, is a Mexican actor and singer recognized for his extensive work in Latin American Spanish dubbing. Born on February 10, 1977, in Mexico City, he comes from a family with a strong legacy in voice acting; he is the son of Banny Barrero, nephew of Jesús Barrero, and cousin of Víctor Covarrubias and Yectli Barrero Palestino. His career in dubbing began in 1986, and he has since become a prominent figure in the industry, known for his versatility.
Vilchis has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in Japanese anime series.
