Kujira is the stage name of Wakako Matsumoto, a prominent Japanese voice actress born on April 1, 1960, in the Tokyo Metropolis area. She is affiliated with the talent management firm 81 Produce. Her career spans several decades, with her professional activities documented since at least 1990. She is widely recognized for her distinctive vocal quality and her ability to portray a vast range of characters, from villains and authority figures to comedic and maternal roles.
Kujira has portrayed numerous characters across a wide variety of anime series.
