Description
Jessie commands Team Rocket's iconic trio with James and Meowth, relentlessly pursuing powerful Pokémon like Ash's Pikachu through theft and ingenious machine-building. As the group's confident leader, she permits side jobs and hobbies and readily deceives their boss Giovanni if needed. She joined Team Rocket separately, initially clashing with James and Meowth before forging a powerful partnership.

Her difficult past stems from her mother Miyamoto's disappearance on a mission to record Mew, leaving Jessie impoverished in foster care, sometimes surviving on snow. Pre-Team Rocket life was unstable and marked by failure: washed-out pop idol training, expulsion from Chansey nursing school despite bonding with one (later a Blissey), poor performance at Pokémon Tech, bicycle gang membership, and fleeting roles in modeling, weather reporting, and ninja work. She maintains a fierce rivalry with fellow agent Cassidy.

Physically, Jessie is defined by long magenta hair styled in a comet-tail curl and large green orb earrings. She wears a signature Team Rocket uniform: a short black undershirt exposing her midriff, a white high-collared shirt with a red "R," a white miniskirt, black thigh-high boots, and shoulder-length black gloves. She fiercely values her appearance and hair, reacting with intense fury to damage or insults.

Personality-wise, she exhibits a short temper, vanity, proneness to anger, and dramatic flair, often underestimating opponents. Despite her villainy, she genuinely cares for her Pokémon, favoring snake-like or Poison-types like Ekans/Arbok, Seviper, and Dustox, alongside Dratini and Smoochum. During *Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies*, her promotion to Advanced Agent under Giovanni's "Operation Tempest" temporarily shifted her demeanor to a calmer, more collected, and strategically villainous approach, though her underlying meanness surfaced against Ash. After the operation's failure, she reverted to her volatile self. Her persistent pursuit of Ash across Unova involved their balloon, capture strategies, Pokémon like Mimikyu for distractions, and funding operations through her proficiency in Pokémon contests and showcases.
