Lia Sargent is an American voice actress, director, and acting coach with a career spanning several decades in the anime and video game industries. Born on February 20, 1957, she is the daughter of film and television director Joseph Sargent and actress Mary Carver. Sargent has been active in voice work since at least 1983 and has contributed to over one hundred anime titles, both as a performer and in production roles such as ADR director and script writer for studios like Animaze Inc..
Her extensive list of anime voice roles includes many of the characters specified. She voiced Mai Yumekanoh in the Streamline dub of Megazone 23. In Android Kikaider: The Animation, she was the voice of Mitsuko Komyoji. She played Rita in Galerians: Rion and Artemis in Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier.
