Laura Post

Description
Laura Post is an American voice actress and voice director known for her extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime, as well as in video games and animated series. She began her career after graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2007, having been inspired to pursue voice acting after attending panels on the subject at an anime convention. Early in her career, she provided voices for audio dramas, commercials, and documentaries before establishing herself in the animation and video game industries.

Post has built a reputation for portraying a wide range of characters, from villainous matriarchs and powerful warriors to gentle, maternal figures. Her notable anime roles are numerous and span a variety of popular series. She is recognized for her performances as Ragyo Kiryuin in Kill la Kill, Diana Cavendish in Little Witch Academia, Nozomi Tojo in the Love Live! franchise, and Fubuki, also known as Blizzard, in One Punch Man. She has also taken on significant roles such as the manipulative Isabella in The Promised Neverland, the vampire doctor Tamayo in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the god Brunhilde in Record of Ragnarok, the cool and collected Mai Zenin in Jujutsu Kaisen, and the quick-witted Cynthia Moore in Great Pretender. Her film work includes voicing Miki Okudera in the critically acclaimed Your Name and Suzu Urano in In This Corner of the World.

In addition to her anime work, Post has a prolific career in video games. She is perhaps best known to gamers as the voice of Ahri in League of Legends, a role she discussed in a 2015 interview, noting her surprise at the character's immense popularity. Other prominent game credits include Queen Azshara in World of Warcraft, Valentine in Skullgirls, Harley Quinn in Batman: The Enemy Within, Kasumi Yoshizawa in Persona 5 Royal, Primrose Azelhart in Octopath Traveler, and Yelan in Genshin Impact. She has described voice work for video games, particularly the physical demands of recording combat sounds, as one of the most vocally stressful aspects of the profession.

Throughout her career, Laura Post has also worked as a voice director and has served as a frequent voice double for the actress Tina Fey in various projects. Her work is often associated with major dubbing studios such as Bang Zoom! Entertainment and Studiopolis. Her consistent presence across a broad spectrum of animated and interactive media has made her a well-respected and familiar figure in the voice acting community.
