Hōki has an extensive filmography spanning several decades, with notable roles in long-running and popular anime series. In the series Meiji Gekken: 1874, he voices the character Ryūzō Moriya. He also plays the role of Olba Meyer in The Devil Is a Part-Timer!. In the One Piece franchise, Hōki has taken on two significant roles; he is the current voice of Jimbei, the helmsman of the Straw Hat Pirates, a role he has voiced since 2010.
