Description
"I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons" centers on Miyako, a spirited and unconventional young girl who finds herself thrust into the rigid world of royal etiquette after being chosen as a candidate to marry the crown prince. The story begins with Miyako’s ordinary life being upended when she is suddenly enrolled in an elite academy designed to groom young women into becoming proper princesses. The academy’s strict curriculum, overseen by the stern and unyielding headmistress, focuses on mastering poise, manners, and traditional skills deemed essential for royalty.
Miyako, however, is ill-suited to this environment. Her free-spirited nature and disdain for rigid rules clash with the academy’s expectations, leading to frequent comedic mishaps and confrontations with her instructors. Despite her reluctance, Miyako is determined to escape the confines of the academy and return to her former life. Her attempts to do so are often thwarted by the academy’s strict surveillance and the unexpected friendships she forms with her fellow students, who each have their own reasons for attending.
