Amanda Winn Lee is an American voice actress, ADR director, and script writer known for her extensive work in English-language dubs of anime and video games, particularly during the late 1990s and early 2000s. She is a graduate of Wesleyan University and began her voice acting career in 1995. She often works under the auspices of her own dubbing company, Gaijin Productions, which she co-owns with her husband, voice actor Jason C. Lee.
Winn Lee's most iconic and enduring role is that of Rei Ayanami in the monumental series Neon Genesis Evangelion. She provided the voice for the enigmatic pilot in the original ADV Films dub of the television series and the subsequent films, Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion.
