Affonso Amajones is a highly prolific Brazilian voice actor and ADR director, born in 1965, who has become one of the most recognizable voices in the Portuguese dubbing industry for anime and animated series. His career spans several decades and includes a vast number of credits, demonstrating his versatility across a wide range of character archetypes.
Amajones is known for voicing iconic and powerful characters. He is the voice of Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist and Alucard in Hellsing. He has also voiced several major characters in the Dragon Ball franchise, including Yamcha in an older dub, Tenshinhan in Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Kibito.
