Yuko Goto is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer. She was born on August 28, 1975, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Axlone. Goto is known for her fluency in English and holds a high score on the TOEIC test.

Goto made her debut as a voice actor in 1999. Her first major recognition came with the role of Kaede Fuyou in the anime series Shuffle! in 2005. However, her career reached new heights in 2006 when she was cast as Mikuru Asahina in the immensely popular series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This role brought her widespread fame and established her as a prominent figure in the industry.

Throughout her career, Goto has portrayed a wide variety of characters, demonstrating her range as a performer. In addition to Mikuru Asahina, some of her most notable roles include Hiro in the long-running Hidamari Sketch series, Abiru Kobushi in the Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei franchise, and Anya Alstreim in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. She has also voiced characters in more recent series, such as Mayu Matsukaze in Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!?, Georgie Saikawa in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S, and Edinburgh in Azur Lane.

In recognition of her talent and contributions, Goto won the Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 1st Seiyu Awards in 2007 for her performance as Mikuru Asahina in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Beyond anime, she has also been active as a singer, performing character songs for many of her roles and releasing solo music. She was a member of the singing unit Despair Girls, formed from the cast of Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei.

In 2012, Goto announced that she was taking a hiatus from her career to focus on treatment for an autoimmune disease. She has since returned to voice acting and continues to be active in the industry.
