Satsumi Matsuda is a Japanese voice actress born on July 17, 1993, in Takatsuki, Osaka, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Arts Vision and stands 152 cm tall. She has a twin sister, Risae Matsuda, who is also a voice actress, and the two are known for occasionally appearing in projects together.
Matsuda's journey into voice acting was influenced by a childhood love for tokusatsu, particularly the series Kamen Rider Den-O. Before entering the industry, she and her sister were finalists in the Anisong Grand Prix, a nationwide anime song contest. She is a graduate of the Nippon Narration Engi Kenkyūjo, a prestigious voice actor training school. She made her professional debut in 2013, with one of her earliest roles being Claire in the video game Metal Max 4: Gekkō no Diva.
Matsuda is recognized for her distinctive and energetic voice, which is well-suited for playing young boys and spirited female characters.
