Piccolo features as a supporting character in the "Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Super Collaboration Special!!". He initially observes from the audience during the Food Tournament race segment. Later, he confronts the energy-draining Deep Sea Glutton Akami alongside allies. During the post-tournament meal, Piccolo grows suspicious of the event's true motives with Robin and Coco, prompting them to question IGO Director Mansam. Mansam discloses the tournament served as a ruse to lure Akami.

Joining the battle against Akami, Piccolo teams with Sanji and the Thousand Sunny in an assault. Akami drains their energy mid-fight along with Brook, Franky, Coco, Goten, and Trunks, triggering its evolution into a stronger form. Following this defeat, Goku, Luffy, and Toriko assume primary combat duties, combining their powers to annihilate Akami.

Piccolo’s involvement culminates at the victory banquet, where the group consumes cooked Akami flesh to replenish their lost energy.
