Description
Meowth is a male Normal-type Pokémon and a core member of Team Rocket alongside Jessie and James. Originally an abandoned kitten living on the streets of Hollywood, he joined a gang of stray Meowth led by a Persian. There, he met a female Meowth named Meowzie and became infatuated with her. To impress Meowzie, he painstakingly taught himself to walk upright and speak human language, losing his ability to learn the move Pay Day. His efforts backfired after Meowzie rejected him as unnatural, prompting the heartbroken decision to join Team Rocket after recalling "Rocket" as the first human word he comprehended.
Within Team Rocket, Meowth served as the trio's translator, mechanic, and strategist. He designed their gadgets and piloted their signature Meowth-shaped balloon. His personality combined ambition, pride, and greed, often clashing with Jessie and James but demonstrating deep loyalty to them.
