Yōhei Azakami is a Japanese voice actor born on August 7, 1991, in Gunma Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production.

Azakami began his career after graduating from Aoni Juku, the voice acting school affiliated with his agency. He joined Aoni Production in 2011, initially performing under the stage name Yōhei Hosono before changing it to Yōhei Azakami in 2012. His first lead role came in 2016 when he starred as Kennosuke Tokisada Ōma in the original net animation series Kuromukuro.

Azakami gained significant recognition for his role as Guel Jeturk in the 2022 television anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. His other prominent lead roles from the same year include Ayumu Tanaka in the romantic comedy When Will Ayumu Make His Move? and Homare Hakata in Phantom of the Idol.

His filmography is extensive and includes a wide variety of characters across numerous anime series. Some of his notable television animation roles include Shо̄hei Sakaki in Love All Play, Ryūhei Oda in D_Cide Traumerei the Animation, Irvin Olanza in Bibliophile Princess, Michael Bismarck in The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup, Aoi Todo in Oblivion Battery, Toshizō Hijikata in Blue Miburo, and Tecchō Suehiro in Bungo Stray Dogs. He also voices Rinne Amagi in the Ensemble Stars!! franchise.

Beyond television, Azakami has contributed to original net animations and anime films. His work includes roles such as Jean Jacquemonde in Spriggan, Sasuke in Shabake, and Kentarō Mahara in Gundam Breaker Battlogue. In film, he has appeared in productions like Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash and Break of Dawn.

Azakami is also active in video games, lending his voice to characters in major titles such as Bos Brunnen in the Atelier Ryza series, the male protagonist in God Eater 3, Seijuro Kamiyama in Sakura Wars, Shikanosuke Yamanaka in Samurai Warriors 5, Michael Roa Valdamjong in Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-, and Mydei in Honkai: Star Rail.

In March 2024, Azakami was one of the recipients of the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 18th Seiyu Awards, a prestigious ceremony recognizing achievement in voice acting. On January 1, 2024, he announced his marriage to fellow voice actress Hitomi Ōwada.
