Minami Tsuda

Description
Minami Tsuda is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Aoni Production, known for a wide range of roles spanning anime television series, films, and video games. She was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, on June 8, 1989.

Tsuda's interest in voice acting began in childhood, influenced by her sister's aspiration to become an animator. From the age of ten through high school, she was a member of a choir, an experience that contributed to her vocal skills. Following a recommendation from veteran voice actress Michie Tomizawa, Tsuda enrolled in Aoni Juku, the voice acting school affiliated with Aoni Production, graduating from the Tokyo school's 29th class. She made her professional debut in 2009.

Her career encompasses a wide variety of characters. One of her earliest and most prominent roles was as Yui Funami in the long-running comedy series YuruYuri, a part she has played since 2011. She gained further recognition as the voice of Iris's Pokémon Axew in the Pokémon: Best Wishes! anime series. In the idol franchise, she voices Miho Kohinata in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls. Other significant anime roles include Mei Aihara in Citrus, Norn Clatalissa Jioral in Redo of Healer, Momiji Hozuki in Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!, Lucy Webster in The Ancient Magus' Bride, and Riho Flavin in Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town. She also provided the voice for Misaki in the video game Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation and for Mio in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Throughout her career, Tsuda has frequently collaborated with other voice actresses, particularly those from the YuruYuri franchise, forming the unit Nanamori Middle School Gokabu Bu with her co-stars. Her work demonstrates a consistent presence in both long-running series and new, high-profile anime adaptations each season. In June 2024, she announced her marriage to fellow voice actor Tatsuya Tachibana.
