Ibuki Kido is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Aomori Prefecture, born on November 14, 1997. She is affiliated with the talent agency HoriPro International. Her interest in voice acting began in elementary school after being inspired by the performance of Nana Mizuki in the anime Shugo Chara!. To practice, she would mute the television and provide her own voiceover for the characters. In 2011, she participated in a major audition held by Horipro, advancing to the final round of the competition. Although she did not win, the agency recognized her potential and signed her. She made her debut as a voice actress in 2012 with a minor role in the anime Amagami SS+ plus.

Kido's first leading role came in 2012 when, at the age of 14, she was cast as Akiko Himenokōji in the television anime series OniAi. This marked the beginning of a prolific career. She has since taken on a wide variety of roles across numerous anime series, demonstrating her range as a performer. From 2014 to 2017, she was a member of the singing duo every♥ing! with fellow voice actress Erii Yamazaki, and they performed theme songs for several anime series.

Among her many roles, Kido is known for portraying characters in long-running and popular franchises. She plays Mio Minato in the Aikatsu! series, appearing in Aikatsu Friends!, its sequel Aikatsu Friends! ~Kagayaki no Jewel~, and Aikatsu on Parade!. She is also a staple in the Idolmaster franchise, voicing Kana Yabuki in The Idolmaster franchise, starting with The Idolmaster Movie: Kagayaki no Mukōgawa e! and continuing in multiple related games. In the world of gaming, she voices Tsumugi in the popular title Princess Connect! Re:Dive.

Her other prominent television anime roles include Natsuki Andō in Chronicles of the Going Home Club, Nanami Knight Bladefield in If Her Flag Breaks, Megumi Jinno in Eromanga Sensei, and Tōko Tsukushiin in The Honor Student at Magic High School.
