Diego Baldoin is an Italian stage actor and voice actor, born in Vimercate, Lombardy, on April 17, 1981. He is widely recognized for his prolific work providing the Italian voices for numerous characters in anime series, films, and video games.

Baldoin's career in performance began on the stage. After completing his literary studies, he made his debut as an actor through a long-standing collaboration with the theater company I Guitti di Travagliato, working with director Luca Micheletti on various productions. During this period, he also started his activities as a voice actor and radio speaker, which included work on radio commercials. In 2012, he became one of the official voices of the Italian radio station Radio 24.

His voice is familiar to Italian audiences for his extensive work in anime dubbing, where he has been cast in a wide range of leading and supporting roles. Among his most prominent parts is Elias Ainsworth, the mysterious titular mage in the dark fantasy series The Ancient Magus' Bride. He also voices the stern but skilled Takehisa Hinawa in Fire Force and Rikido Sato in the global phenomenon My Hero Academia.

Baldoin's filmography includes many other significant anime roles. He is the Italian voice of Despa, the skilled mentor to Prince Bojji in Ranking of Kings; Miguel in the feature film Jujutsu Kaisen 0; and the tragic gang leader Maine in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. He also voices Pyron in Shaman King (2021 series), Ghecis in Pokémon Evolutions, Yoji Sasaki in A Whisker Away, Bercouli Synthesis One in Sword Art Online: Alicization, Boris in BNA: Brand New Animal, Qasim in Cagaster of an Insect Cage, Professor Cerise in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Jason in Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, Seiji Hayami in Cutie Honey Universe, Ryuga in Legends of the Dark King: A Fist of the North Star Story, Odin in Cannon Busters, and Cyrano in Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation.

Beyond animation, Baldoin is a prominent figure in the dubbing of video games. His notable video game roles include Isaac Clarke in the Dead Space series, Captain America in Marvel's Avengers and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Erend in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, Nick Reyes in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 1. He has also voiced Claudio Serafino in Tekken 7 and Tekken 8. In an interview, he cited his roles as Tai Kaliso in Gears of War 2 and Emile in Halo: Reach as particularly significant to his career. Baldoin has also contributed as a dubbing director, for example, on the series Reborn!.
