Yuichiro Umehara is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with the agency Arts Vision. He was born on March 8, 1991, in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Umehara's interest in voice acting began in his first year of middle school after hearing the Japanese dubbing performance of Hoochu Otsuka as Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings. During his second year at university, he began attending the Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyujo, a training institute for Arts Vision, and joined the agency a year later. He made his professional debut in 2013 with a small role in Pokémon: XY, and his first regular anime role came in 2014 as Wakasa in the series Merman in My Tub. His first leading role was Kuroo Hazama in Young Black Jack in 2015.

Umehara has built an extensive and varied career, lending his voice to a wide range of characters across numerous anime series. Some of his most notable roles include the title character in Goblin Slayer, Seiya Ryuuguuin in Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, En Yufuin in Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, Siegfried Kircheis in Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, and Weather Report in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. He also voices significant characters in long-running and popular franchises, such as Jugram Haschwalth in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Mars in Black Clover, and Zoltan Akkanen in Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative. Other prominent roles include Goblin Slayer in Goblin Slayer, Anos Voldigoad in The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Keito Hasumi in Ensemble Stars!, Manabu Horikita in Classroom of the Elite, and Kureno Soma in Fruits Basket. His filmography also includes a wide array of other characters, such as Balto Phthalo in So I'm a Spider, So What?, Vijay Kumar Singh in High Card, Claude Jeanne Elmir in I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss, Klaus in Spy Classroom, The Joker in Suicide Squad ISEKAI, and Takayuki Mima in Play It Cool, Guys, among many others.

In recognition of his early career success, Umehara received the Best Rookie Actor Award at the 10th Seiyu Awards in 2016 for his performances in Young Black Jack and Merman in My Tub. The following year, in 2017, he was honored with the Best Male Voice Actor Award at the Newtype Anime Awards.

Umehara is also a musician. He plays the guitar and was the vocalist and guitarist in a band during his high school years. He is a member of the pop-rock band Sir Vanity, which he formed with fellow voice actor Yoshiki Nakajima and two other musicians.
