Description
"Yo-kai Watch: Forever Friends" is a standalone film set in the Yo-kai Watch universe, taking place in the 1960s in the fictional town of Sakura New Town. The story centers on two young boys, Shin and Keita, who form an unlikely friendship while navigating personal struggles and the mysterious world of Yo-kai. Shin, a reserved and lonely boy, lives with his mother in poverty after his father’s disappearance. Keita, a cheerful and adventurous boy, moves to the town with his family but feels disconnected from his parents due to their busy lives. Both boys share a sense of isolation and longing for connection.

Their lives change when they encounter a Yo-kai named Suu-san, a small, dragon-like creature who becomes their companion. Suu-san introduces them to the hidden world of Yo-kai, supernatural beings that influence human emotions and events. Together, Shin and Keita embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind Shin’s father’s disappearance, which is tied to a powerful and enigmatic Yo-kai named Daira.
