Sayaka Ohara is a Japanese voice actress and narrator born on December 6, 1975, in Kanagawa Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Haikyō and has been active in the industry since her debut in 1998. She is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University.

Ohara is widely recognized for her extensive and varied career in anime, often portraying mature, elegant, or strong-willed women. Her filmography includes many prominent and long-running series. Some of her most iconic roles include Alicia Florence in the Aria series, Erza Scarlet in Fairy Tail, Yūko Ichihara in xxxHolic, Layla Hamilton in Kaleido Star, and Irisviel von Einzbern in the Fate series. She also voices Michiru Kaiō, also known as Sailor Neptune, in the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal series and its subsequent films. Her other notable anime roles include Beatrice in Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Milly Ashford in Code Geass, Rika Harada in Honey and Clover, and Ozen in Made in Abyss. She has frequently collaborated with director Sato Junichi, appearing in his works such as Kaleido Star and Aria.

Beyond anime, Ohara's work as a narrator and DJ is also a significant part of her career. She has hosted the music information radio program NOW HITS STREET since 1999. She is also known for providing the in-station announcements for several major private railway lines in the Kanto region, including Keihin Electric Express Railway and Keio Electric Railway.

In 2013, her peers and the industry recognized her talent and contribution when she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 7th Seiyu Awards.
