Live-Action TV
Description
The three Kisugi sisters—Hitomi, Rui, and Ai—lead a double life running a small cafe called Cat's Eye by day while working as a trio of highly skilled art thieves by night. Each heist ends with them leaving behind a calling card bearing the name Cat's Eye, taunting the authorities who have been unable to stop them. Their true motivation is deeply personal: the artworks they steal, mostly paintings, originally belonged to their missing father, Heinz, a famous artist and art collector who vanished during the Nazi era. The sisters believe that by gathering his scattered works, he will eventually contact them. Complicating matters is Toshi, the police officer assigned to the Cat's Eye case. He is also Hitomi's devoted fiancé, completely unaware that his beloved is one of the thieves he has sworn to capture. The live-action special follows the sisters as they execute another elaborate heist, balancing the danger of their secret identity with the emotional stakes of Hitomi and Toshi's relationship, all while edging closer to the truth about their father.
