TV Special
Description
Son Goku works as a firefighter in a modern Japanese metropolis, partnered with Kame-Sen'nin, Kuririn, and Yamcha in their fire brigade. During a park patrol, he intervenes when a young girl and her brother ignite a trash can with fireworks. Goku douses the flames with a water bucket and sternly lectures them on firework safety, stressing the need for open spaces and emergency water access.

Later, the brigade tackles a house fire sparked by a discarded cigarette. Goku manages crowd control as his teammates extinguish the blaze, while the group educates children on hazards like unattended cooking, irons placed face-down, and matchplay. In a subsequent mission, Goku aids Bulma during a high-rise condo fire caused by earthquake-spilled cooking oil. When the fire truck's ladder falls short of her balcony, he extends his Nyoi-Bō staff vertically to reach her. After securing Bulma, he re-enters the inferno to rescue her trapped cat.

Across these incidents, Goku consistently prioritizes fire prevention education—correcting household hazards with children and reinforcing safety protocols. The narrative culminates with Goku's brigade singing a fire-safety parody of "Makafushigi Adventure."

This continuity diverges from Dragon Ball's primary storyline, grounded in late-1980s Japan with elements like park trash cans, emergency payphones, and modern kitchens. Goku and his team wear standard fireproof gear in civic roles. Chao, a minor original-series character, appears as one of the children receiving safety instruction.
