Description
Eight months after his victory over Tamao Serizawa, Genji Takiya remains unable to achieve total supremacy over Suzuran All-Boys High School, a notorious institution for delinquents known as the School of Crows. His primary obsession is defeating the legendary and undefeated fighter Rindaman, but every challenge ends in failure, causing his followers to lose confidence and his rival Serizawa to mock his desperation. As graduation approaches, Genji feels his goal slipping away.
The fragile situation at Suzuran implodes when Genji unknowingly breaks a long-standing non-aggression pact with a rival school, Hosen Academy, also feared as the Army of Killers. He intervenes to protect Noboru Kawanishi, a former Suzuran leader recently released from a reformatory. Two years earlier, Kawanishi had violated the gang code of honor by using a weapon to fatally wound Makio Bito, the former leader of Hosen. To prevent an all-out war, a truce was established with the understanding that Hosen would have the right to exact retribution upon Kawanishi once he was free. By shielding him, Genji nullifies this agreement and provokes the current leader of Hosen, the formidable Taiga Narumi, to declare war on the entire Suzuran institution.
As tensions escalate, Genji is forced to confront his shortcomings as a leader. He must set aside his personal vendetta with Rindaman and find a way to unite the notoriously fractured and bickering factions within Suzuran, including his own Genji Perfect Seiha (G.P.S.) alliance and Serizawa’s group, to face a common external enemy. The threat from Hosen is immediate and brutal, and the conflict becomes increasingly personal and destructive, culminating in a final, massive confrontation between the two schools where Genji must prove that true strength lies not just in one’s own fists, but in the ability to inspire and lead others. This battle for survival forces him to finally understand what it truly means to stand at the top of the School of Crows.
