Benjamin Diskin is an American voice actor with a prolific career spanning animation, anime, and video games since the late 1980s. Born in Los Angeles County, California, in 1982, he began his career as a child actor, appearing in live-action productions such as the film Kindergarten Cop and the television series The Wonder Years. He transitioned to voice acting at a young age, landing his first lead voice role as Junior Healy in the animated series Problem Child in 1993. This early start led to prominent roles in Western animation, including Eugene in Hey Arnold!, Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 2 in Codename: Kids Next Door, and Eddie Brock / Venom in The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Diskin has become a highly recognizable figure in the field of anime dubbing, lending his voice to a vast array of characters across numerous popular series. He frequently works with major dubbing studios such as Studiopolis, Bang Zoom!, and NYAV Post. His extensive filmography demonstrates a remarkable vocal range, allowing him to portray characters of various ages and personalities, from young protagonists to powerful antagonists. Among his most notable and enduring roles is Ban, the immortal Fox Sin of Greed, in the long-running series The Seven Deadly Sins, a character he voiced across multiple sequels and films including Dragon's Judgement, Imperial Wrath of The Gods, Cursed By Light, and Prisoners of the Sky. Another significant role is Sai in the Naruto franchise, which he has voiced in Naruto Shippuden, its sequel Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and several films.

In action series, he has voiced characters like Shiva, the leader of the Hindu gods, in Record of Ragnarok; the mysterious Yevgraf in Sirius the Jaeger; and Skeptic in My Hero Academia. In science fiction and fantasy, his credits include the human-Kaiju hybrid known as Kaiju Boy in Pacific Rim: The Black, the werewolf Shiro Ogami in BNA: Brand New Animal, the adult version of the protagonist Wendelin in The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?, and Arthur Peregrine in Beyblade Burst GT. He also voiced the character Ear in the historical epic Vinland Saga and took on the role of Agumon in the 2023 reboot series Digimon Adventure.

Diskin is equally adept at portraying more nuanced and dramatic characters. He played Satoru Fujinuma, the adult protagonist with the power to travel back in time, in the thriller Erased; the loyal and optimistic Labrador retriever Jack in Beastars; and the intelligent and lovable Haida in the popular Netflix series Aggretsuko, including its holiday special. His film work includes voicing Yuzuru Tachibana in the Netflix anime film Drifting Home, Misaki Yata in K: Missing Kings, and Ash Roller in Accel World: Infinite Burst. He has also taken on iconic roles, such as the young Joseph Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Death Gun in Sword Art Online, and providing the English voice for the beloved Disney character Stitch in the Stitch! anime series and its sequels, succeeding original voice actor Chris Sanders. Additional notable credits include Pneumococcus in Cells at Work!, Shiraishi in Ultraman, and various roles in projects like Marvel Future Avengers and Good Night World.

Throughout his career, Diskin has demonstrated a strong ability to work on long-running projects and reprise his roles across different media. His performance as Ban in The Seven Deadly Sins and its various installments, as well as his continued work as Sai in the Naruto/Boruto universe, showcase his consistency and dedication to his characters. In recognition of his talent and contribution to the field, Diskin won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2019 for Outstanding Performer in a Preschool Animated Program for his dual role as Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat in the Muppet Babies revival series.
