Kensho Ono is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer born on October 5, 1989, in Fukuoka Prefecture. He is currently affiliated with the agency Animo Produce. Ono began his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor, making his first television appearance in the 2002 taiga drama Toshiie to Matsu. He rose to prominence as the official Japanese dub voice for Harry Potter in the Harry Potter film series, a role he performed for a decade starting from the age of twelve. This long-running role was a pivotal experience that led him to pursue a career as a voice actor. In addition to his voice work, he is also active as a stage actor and launched a singing career in 2014 under the Lantis label.
Ono's career in anime is marked by a wide range of leading and supporting roles. His first major breakthrough role was as the titular protagonist Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko's Basketball starting in 2012, a character that became one of his most iconic performances.
