Aya Endo

Description
Aya Endo is a Japanese voice actress and narrator born on February 17, 1980, in Yamagata Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Office PAC. After graduating from high school, Endo moved to Tokyo to pursue her dream of becoming a voice actor, enrolling in the Performing Arts Center, the training school of her future agency. Her decision was influenced by her parents' acquaintance with Nachi Nozawa, the agency's representative at the time. Her first regular role in a television anime was as Kasumi Horiguchi in the 2005 series Oku-sama wa Joshi Kōsei.

Endo's career gained significant recognition in 2007 with her role as the knowledgeable and gentle Miyuki Takara in the popular series Lucky Star. This performance led to her receiving the Best Singing award at the 2nd Seiyu Awards alongside her co-stars for the series' theme song. The following year, she voiced the iconic and charismatic Sheryl Nome in Macross Frontier, a role that further cemented her status as a leading voice actress. In 2009, she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 3rd Seiyu Awards, highlighting her versatility and skill in a wide range of roles.

Throughout her career, Aya Endo has demonstrated a remarkable range, voicing characters across many genres. She is known for sophisticated or introverted characters but has also expressed an interest in playing against type and taking on boyish roles. She has been the official Japanese dubbing voice for Minnie Mouse since 2016, taking over the role from the late Yūko Mizutani. Her extensive filmography includes a long-standing association with the Yo-kai Watch franchise, where she voices multiple characters, including Fumika "Fumi-chan" Kodama, Komasan, and Komajirō. In the long-running Mr. Osomatsu series, she plays Totoko. Other notable roles include Shoko Ieiri in Jujutsu Kaisen, the Sword Maiden in Goblin Slayer, Silky in The Ancient Magus' Bride, Fuuko Kurasaki/Sky Raker in Accel World, and Reine Murasame in the Date A Live series. She has also appeared in major franchise titles such as Mobile Suit Gundam, Fate, A Certain Magical Index, and Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These.

In addition to her anime work, Endo has contributed to video game voice acting, with roles such as Elie MacDowell in The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki and Sun Shangxiang in the Yo-kai Sangokushi crossover game. She was also a member of the voice-acting unit "Plume" alongside Manabi Mizuno and Shiho Kawaragi. Endo announced her marriage on her blog in August 2013. Her hobby is swimming.
