Shinichiro Miki is a highly experienced and celebrated Japanese voice actor born on March 18, 1968, in Tokyo, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce. Miki began his career in 1989 and has since become one of the most recognizable voices in the anime industry.

His career is marked by a wide range of iconic roles, demonstrating his versatility across different character types. He is particularly known for his portrayal of Kojirō, known as James in English adaptations, in the long-running Pokémon anime and its associated films, a role he has played since 1997. Another signature role is that of the skilled street racer Takumi Fujiwara in the Initial D series. In the action franchise Bleach, he voices the enigmatic Kisuke Urahara.
