Kenjiro Tsuda is a Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator, and film director, born on June 11, 1971, in Osaka Prefecture. He is a graduate of Meiji University, where he majored in theater studies in the Department of Literature. Originally aspiring to become a film director, his interest in performance led him to pursue acting. He is affiliated with the talent agency ANDSTIR.

Tsuda spent part of his early childhood in Jakarta, Indonesia, from the age of one until he returned to Japan in the second grade. This international experience was followed by a period of adjustment to life in Japan. His passion for film began in his youth, and he started attending movie theaters regularly from junior high school.

Tsuda made his voice acting debut in 1995 with a role as Atsushi Noda in the anime series H2. In the early years of his career, he experienced financial hardship but persevered, with his work on H2 serving as a significant turning point. His breakthrough role came with the character Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, which aired from 2000 to 2004, establishing him as a prominent voice actor. He continued to build his career with notable roles such as Sadaharu Inui in The Prince of Tennis (2001) and Chikage Kazama in the Hakuōki series (2010).

Tsuda is widely recognized for his deep, resonant, and commanding voice, which makes him a frequent choice for authoritative, intense, and cool-headed characters, including rivals, antagonists, and mentors. His extensive filmography includes iconic roles such as Mikoto Suoh in the K series, Fire Emblem/Nathan Seymour in Tiger & Bunny, Atomic Samurai in One Punch Man, Overhaul in My Hero Academia, Joker in Fire Force, and Hyakunosuke Ogata in Golden Kamuy. He gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of the pragmatic and beloved jujutsu sorcerer Kento Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen. In 2021, he received the Best Lead Actor Award at the 15th Seiyu Awards, a prestigious honor recognizing his outstanding performances. His career continued to flourish with roles in Chainsaw Man as Kishibe, The Way of the Househusband as Tatsu, and in the video game Genshin Impact as Dainsleif.

Beyond anime, Tsuda is active in live-action acting, having appeared in television dramas such as Jin and Trillion Game, and films like My Happy Marriage and My Home Hero. He also works extensively as a narrator for various programs and commercials. In 2017, he temporarily took over several roles, including Hannes in Attack on Titan, while fellow voice actor Keiji Fujiwara was recovering from illness.

Expanding his creative pursuits, Tsuda made his directorial debut in 2019 with the documentary film Documentertainment AD-LIVE, which explores the behind-the-scenes work of an improvisational theater project. In 2020, he directed, wrote, and appeared in the short film GET SET GO as part of WOWOW's "Actor's Short Film" project. His contributions to the entertainment industry were further recognized in 2024 when he won the 53rd Best Dresser Award in the entertainment category. In November 2025, marking his 30th anniversary in the industry, he was cast as Figarland Shamrock in the One Piece anime.
